1. Karen Scott Sweater- I needed a new black sweater. I got a hole in mine. $9.99 normally $39.50

3. Karen Scott Sweater- I will get a lot of wear out of a pink sweater. $9.99 normally $39.50
4. New York and Company Outlet Lipstick Shirt- I like having button ups for different events. The lipstick print is really fun. $15 similar
5. Dog Sweater- I love sweaters with animals on them so I know I'll get a lot of wear out of this dog sweater. $14.44 similar
6. Embellished Cardigan- I wear a lot of cardigans so it'll be nice to have and embellished one for dressing up basic dresses. $14.44   similar
7. Gray Skirt- I've gained a little bit of weight so some of my skirts aren't fitting how they used to. This knit skirt is great for fall and it has a nice shape. $17.66 similar

5. Green Velvet Dress- This might be my New Years Eve outfit or for a fancier date night. $20 normally $28.99
6. Pink Faux Fur Earmuffs- I got two pairs of these last year and wore them all the time. Since they had them in pink I knew I'd wear them too. $20

Black Friday Picks

I'm going Black Friday shopping. I normally browse around online first. On my list is a black dress since I have an event I need one for and a skirt or two. I've rounded up 6 picks for a black dress and some cute skirts.
First store up is Ann Taylor. I love the bow back on this dress. It has a very simple front. With Sale$79.50
I would get a lot of use out of the wrap dress. It can go with anything. With Sale$34.94
Next up is Loft. I think I like the shape of the skirt of this wrap dress better. With Sale $34.75
This lace dress is the front runner right now. I think I could wear it to work events and it would look great going out to dinner with some over the knee boots. With Sale $49
Nordstrom is next. I like this 3/4 sleeve dress. I really love the green that this comes in too. $71.03
I like the cutouts on this dress but I think it may be more appropriate for going out and I want something that can go to work and play. $56.63
1. Seamed skirt from Loft. I love the color on this one. With Sale $19.94
2. Leather skirt from Loft, I've been wanting a leather skirt. This would look great with sweaters. With sale $29.75
3. Pleated Skirt from Express. I love this color too. It also comes in a midi too. With sale $29.95

4 Ways to Spice Up Jeans and a Tee

When I'm working I usually wear jeans and a tee shirt. When I'm going out after work I like to able to take 2 or 3 items with me to change the look.
I've come up with 4 ways to change the look. I'm wearing Old Navy skinny jeans in curvy fit. I've been enjoying them.  I like to go cheaper with basic tees. The target ones are pretty good. I'm going to link to similar options in the widgets below.
Adding a cardigan, statement necklace and bright flats is a great for spring and early fall.

A leather jacket and a scarf is the easiest way to wear jeans and tee in the fall.

This is a little more fun look. I added a statement jacket and statement shoes.

This is a really casual look. A button up and sneakers is a great way to mix prints.

Sephora Play October Review

I've been enjoying my Play by Sephora subscription. This month's theme was the cool cut.
Smashbox Always on Matte Liquid Lipstick in Driver's Seat- This color is described as a warm pink but it looks a little more red on me. I've noticed that it looks like a different color on a lot of skin tones so I would swatch it first. I do love the formula. These photos were taken about 8 hours apart with no touch-ups and it still looks good. I like the applicator on this it made it easy to go to the edge of my lips. I'm glad they chose this color, it's not something I would have picked myself but I'm really loving it. Full Size $ 24

Estee Edit Flash Photo Gloss- I wasn't the biggest fan of this one. It is supposed to make your teeth look brighter. The gloss was a little too sticky for me. I think a blue based lipstick has the same effect. Full Size $20

Erborian Bamboo Creme Frappe Skin Reviving Gel- I enjoyed using this as a moisturizer. It absorbed really fast and my skin feels soft and smooth. I do feel like since it was so lightweight I had to use a lot. Full Size $43

Pharmacy Skin Dew- This is a weird product for me. I really enjoyed using it. It felt very refreshing but I'm not sure if it did anything to my skin. It also doesn't come out in a mist. I don't know if that's an issue only in the sample size. I did like the scent. Full Size $44

Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask- I've been using this once a week instead of conditioner. I feel like it has been making my hair feel really soft. I wish it made my hair look shinier too. It does have a strong powdery scent. Full Size $71

Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris- I am loving this scent. It's a sophisticated floral. Full Size $70

Fall Brights

I wore this to some morning networking. One great way to make bright colors to work in the fall is to pair it with more traditional fall colors like navy and emerald.

Out of Season

I received this dress from Dresslily recently. I know it's a little out of season but it was 80 degrees out when I wore this. I don't think I'll have too many days where this dress still works. I'm impressed with the quality of the fabric. I really like the print and shelf bust detail.
